When we first got to my Grandparent's cabin Sam was temperamental. He said he "needed an outlet."
Sam hates me:
We all went to dinner at this place called the Hermitage Inn. It was pretty subpar and filled with people from New York and Connecticut. Seems just the the Trapp Family Lodge.

My Grandparents:
Late night, there is not much to do. I ended up doing crossword puzzles with my grandmother... which I actually kind of enjoyed.

Breakfast and free Wifi. My Mother was happy to get on facebook. She told me my facebook picture looked a little gay. I know Mom.

Now it is 8 40 am. I guess things work differently here.... I got up at 6 30 am! I cannot remember the last time that happened. Now it is off to visit Marge in Brattleboro...which the waitress here called 'the big city!' xx

Ballade de melody nelson

Lately I have been taking loads of night drives. It is one of my favorite things to do. I like to drive by houses that I used to spend a lot of time in but never do anymore.

last week it mostly rained.
I spent my time lying in bed and finally finishing To Kill a Mockingbird.

The sun finally came out. I have been going on loads of walks. I love seeing the sun through the leaves of the trees. I also have been spending loads of time with Erin. When we are not watching really bad TV or spilling flax seeds all over the kitchen (my fault).... we are taunting random cats and slipping around on sunscreen that is on the floor (my fault too).
Now I am off to the mountains for a little family time, even the grandparents will be there! I am a little anxious that there will be loads of spiders in the cabin. I will probably be upping my Simply Sleep dosage. xx

I never should have asked, it was a long time ago

During Chloë's last days in Vermont some wild things happened (as they always do with Chloë). First off, Axel had to wear one of those cones around his head. Chloë and I thought it was a great idea one night to decorate the cone (not pictured).
Then we went to the mountains

We went to the Trapp Family Lodge for about five minutes. We got pretty creeped out once we discovered that even though the hills were alive with the sound of music, they were also alive with loads of tourists from Connecticut and New York. We all made the decision to just walk away and head elsewhere.
We ended up at the Alpine slide. Something I am not very Keen on. Chloë and my parents all went up while I just sat and watched them come down.
Later we went on a night time drive with my father. We ended up picking sunflowers.

We went to the lake. Wearing flannel. We somehow got super into wearing flannel the last couple of days. It largely had to do with the loads of mosquito bites we were getting.
We even went in the lake!

We both ended up taking pictures of these three old ladies who were swimming. Look at Chloë's phone background.
A day or so later we made pizza and green beans with almonds with my mother. We used fresh vegetables from the garden, which was super exciting for some reason.

Unfortunately, Chloë had to go home. I hope she has a wild time in Nashville though. We both needed some home time. I wish she was here to watch True Blood with us. I miss her loads. xx
